Vita Charlotte Böttger

Charlotte Böttger studied acting at Michael-Tschechow Studio and contemporary dance at Etage in Berlin. She specified her dance and choreographic practice towards improvisation at TIP School for Dance, Improvisation and Performance, Freiburg. She realized her own productions such as TrasHoldopera (2015) in Berlin, an interdisciplinary piece about life, death, mythologies and artificial intelligence, together with a visual artist Sampsa Pirtola. Another of her productions is “Ich habe einen Wolf gesehen” (2014) in Basel, which is a dance theatre piece about human intuition and instincts, inspired by wolves. The practice and philosophy of Contact Improvisation has been a strong influence as well as the teaching of Lilo Stahl, Rosalind Crisp, Ricardo de Paula and Renate Graziadei (Laborgras Berlin).

Vita Maija Ripatti

Maija Ripatti comes from a small town in the middle of thousands lakes of Finland. Before dancing, she was working in theatre as a prop- maker. She is a trained carpenter. Maija made one year full-time education in Dance and Somatics in Finland. After that, she graduated 2018 as a dancer from TIP, School for Dance, Improvisation and Performance in Freiburg. Beside NonStopIllusion, Maija is part of the Kaatuva Hevonen Kyljellään Hyönteinen collective in Finland since 2016. Maija’s movement background is influenced by her training of Contact Improvisation, Ashtanga Yoga and Butoh.

Vita Yeonji Han

Yeonji Han has a moving background with Korean swordsmanship (Haidong Gumdo) practiced in South Korea (2001-2007). She studied Bachelor of Photography & Visual Media at Sangmyung Univ. (2012-2013) and graduated TIP School for Dance, Improvisation and Performance in Freiburg (2016-2018). She’s been invited to Asia Improvisation Art Exchange (KR), Performing Art Network Asia (KR), ONCE Festival FÜR Improvisation Freiburg (DE) and Autunnodanza (IT). Her practicing and staging instant-composition work continues with Maya M. Carroll, Rosalind Crisp, Mirjam Gurtner and her dance collective nonstopillusion. labonneheure.ch/yeonji

Vita Nils Fischer

ist Saxofonist und Bassklarinettist mit einer Vorliebe für tiefe Frequenzen. Er bewegt sich in verschiedenen Stilrichtungen des Jazz. 1988 in Gelsenkirchen DE geboren, geniesst er ersten Saxofon und Ensembleunterricht bei Andreas Krennerich an der Musikschule Germersheim. 2008 zieht es ihn zum Musikstudium nach Luzern. Besonders Urs Leimgruber, John Voirol, Reto Suhner und Frank Möbus hinterlassen wichtige Spuren in seiner musikalischen Ausbildung. Seine Working Band „The Great Harry Hillman“ spielt seit 2009 wachsende Tourneen durch Europa. Nils Fischer ist Sideman u.a. bei „Blaer“, „Zurich Jazz Orchestra“, „Lukas Brügger Jazz Orchestra“, „Elisa Day“und „Raphael Jost and lots of horns“.

Vita Raphael Loher

Inspiriert durch den Blues-Pianisten Champion Jack Dupree beginnt er mit 14 Jahren Klavier zu spielen. Schon früh wurde das Improvisieren und die damit verbundene Achtsamkeit und Kreativarbeit im Moment ein zentraler Bestandteil seines Lebens und seiner Musik. Durch sein vielschichtiges Klavierspiel, welches durc Synthesizer, präpariertes Piano und Wurlitzer ergänzt wird, ist er in den unterschiedlichsten Projekten zwische Improvisation, zeitgenössischem Jazz, Pop und Neuer Musik tätig. Zudem organisiert Raphael Loher seit einigen Jahren Konzerte in der ‘Kulturbrauerei’ in Luzern und fördert somit Improvisierte Musik auch als Veranstalter.

Vita Silke Strahl

In Deutschland aufgewachsen, hat das Interesse an der freien Improvisation während ihres klassischen Saxophonstudiums in Luzern entdeckt. Seither bewegt sie sich musikalisch an der Schnittstelle zwischen neuer Musik, Klassik und freier Improvisation. Neben ihren festen Ensembles „Nachhall“ und dem Duo Klexs, interessiert sie sich für interdisziplinäre Projekte, wie z.B. das Projekt „The Conductress“, welches 2016 während des Lucerne Festivals aufgeführt wurde.
